WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE QUESTIONS

1. When was William Shakespeare born? Where?
Shakespeare was born the 26th of April 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England.
2.  Write the name of William Shakespeare’s parents. Who were they?
His father was John Shakespeare, an alderman and a successful glover and his mother Mary Arden, the daughter of an affluent landowning farmer. She was the heiress to some land.
3. Write the name of his wife. When did they get married?
His wife is Anne Hathaway. When Shakespeare was 18 years old and Hathaway was 26.
4. Write the names of his children. What happened to them?
They had three children: Susanna and twins, Hamnet and Judith.
Hamnet died of unknown causes at the age of 11 (1596).

Stratford-upon-Avon
